Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best known for portraying Detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue, for which she won the Emmy Award. Also, she is known for her roles on the drama show All My Children Philly CSI: Miami as well as Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of a United Auto Workers senior executive and a domestic worker, was raised by four siblings.
